Caffarena F & C is the continuity of the work and tradition of Caffarena Mariano owner of the CAFFARENA – CROVETTO - WOOD & SAWMILLS founded in the year 1930 in Bogliasco, Genova and of Caffarena Ezio Ship Builder specialised in wooden craft expressly designed for racing and competition and hand built masterpieces painstakingly crafted by the foremost "Master of the Adze" master carpenters of the period.

Legendary vessels such as Ombretta I winner of numerous regattas, INA – GUTINA – FATTUELLA, particular works such as the construction of the masts for the famous Quadrifoglio J class and the construction of "Gozzi" (typical Ligurian fishing vessel) in teak and for regatta.

CAFFARENA F&C was born in 1984 with the coming together of the founders - Soracco Nicola and Caffarena Franco which initiated a collaboration for the renovation of classic vessels (amongst which Melisenda – Maria Galante –Santa Rita – etc.) and the manufacture of "Gozzi" in teak. Subsequently the service and renovation of MY Sailor Hallberg Rassy in cooperation with Hallberg Rassy
